The Innovate UK transactions over £25,000 data for September 2019 can now be found on the following link:

https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/innovate-uk-transactions-over-25000

The data for October 2019 and November 2019 is exempt from disclosure under Section 22(1) of the FOIA as it is intended for future publication. Section 22 is a qualified exemption meaning that it is subject to the public interest test.

UKRI understand that being transparent in regard to our spending is in the public interest. However, due to the pre-election period there has been a delay in publishing transparency data. As it stands the data has not yet been compiled and it would be premature to release at this stage. We are of the view that releasing the information as it currently stands would be incomplete and misleading, thus not in the public interest.

We have therefore determined that the public interest is best served by withholding this information from disclosure at the present time, however once the information is released you will find it on the link included above.
