Response

Response Sent: 20 March 2023

UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) do not hold any information relevant to your request.

The Medical Research Council (MRC) do not own 20 Grafton Place, Chelmsford and Nuveen are not representing the MRC.

The building in question is owned by the MRC Pension Trust Limited, the assets of which belong to the MRC Pension Scheme and are kept entirely separate from the Medical Research Council. The discussion on the lease renewal is a contractual matter between the managing agents, Workman, and the Tenant, details of which are not held by the MRC or UKRI.

In addition, we are able to confirm that the MRC responded to the Charms Therapy Centre, through its Executive Chair's office, on the 10 March 2023.
