The funding awarded to these studies was not via joint awards (i.e. in partnership with other funders), but rather by different individual awards supporting different aspects of the overall research. The researchers themselves played a role in bringing the research together.

As such, UKRI hold no communications between the Medical Research Council and Public Health Scotland, or the UK Health Security Agency, in relation to these studies.
