I am looking to retrieve information to formulate a comprehensive understanding of the growth and potential gaps in support for this sector, and inform future activities, the specific information I am interested in includes:
· The total number of Life Sciences companies that applied for funding through various initiatives, including but not limited to, Smart grants, Collaborative Research and Development (CR&D), and Biomedical Catalyst (BMC).
Please provide this data separately for each year from 2018 through 2022.
· The total number of these companies that were successful in securing funding, again separated by year and by initiative.
· The total amount of funding that was granted to the Life Sciences sector through these initiatives for each year from 2018 through 2022.
Additionally, I am also interested in gauging the level of Knowledge Transfer Network (KTN) activity with companies in Northern Ireland during this period. Specifically, could you provide information on:
· The total number of workshops or enquiries involving KTN and companies in the Life Sciences sector in Northern Ireland from 2018 through 2022.
