Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 I would be grateful if you could provide me with information relating to any government funding by way of grants or any other monies in relation to assisting with the manufacture of a coronavirus vaccine. This includes any type of organization, private or public as well as educational in the UK, European Union, or elsewhere in the world. This encompasses collaborative work, partnering agreements, funding to aid research, manufacture and or supply of a Coronavirus vaccine.

Under Section 21 - Information already reasonably accessible, of the FOIA some of the information you have requested is already available in the public domain. Section 21 is an absolute exemption which means that there is no requirement to conduct a public interest test.

Please find attached the relevant data relating to all UKRI funded projects in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The data can be filtered for project title, grant holder, lead organization, abstract, amount, start and end date and project ID. The data has been taken from publicly available information covering all awards and all participants. The information on this webpage also includes topic maps for research grants and innovation grants for business which provide information on the projects funded by topic where you will find information on funding related to vaccines.

With regard to 'is there a contract agreement in place', the 7 research councils award grants to organisations. The standard grant terms and conditions can be found at Meeting UKRI terms and conditions for funding - UKRI. Innovate UK awards are granted under contract
