I am emailing regarding the progression of Alterations and Extension for Astronomy Technology Centre at UK Astronomy Technology Centre, Edinburgh, where I believe Cleanroom & Containment Facilities Ltd is the Main contractor.
I'm just trying to establish if the works have commenced on site and how (are?) the works currently progressing due to the current situation.
If Yes, I would like to know when did it started on-site and the contract period please?

I can confirm UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) hold the information relevant to your request.
The work being carried by Cleanroom & Containment Facilities Ltd (CCF) at the UK Astronomy Technology Centre is to install a new cleanroom in one of the labs.
This commenced on 5 February 2020; however, due to the current pandemic the work ceased on 19 March 2020.
The continued work on this specialist refurbishment will only restart when it can be undertaken in line with UK Government guidance and relevant UKRI policies.
The contract with CCF will conclude when the work has been completed, it does not have a fixed duration.
