What modelling was done in the lead up to the Sept 2022 announcement of a 10% increase in PhD stipends from 2022-23, regarding the impact the raise would have on the number of students UKRI could fund? https://www.ukri.org/news/ukri-increasing-the-minimum-stipend-from-1-october-2022/
Similarly, what modelling was done in the lead up to the May 2023 announcement of a further increase in PhD stipends from 2023-24, regarding the impact the raise would have on the number of students UKRI could fund? https://www.ukri.org/news/ukri-publishes-stipend-and-postgraduate-research-consultation/
