Thank you for your request dated 6th February 2023, made under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Because your request concerns environmental information we have considered it under the terms of the Environmental Information Regulations 2004. Your request was for details of correspondence (emails) and zoom meetings (agendas and minutes) between senior officials and scientists at the BGS and senior scientists/officials at ENI and / or scientists/officials representing Hynet North West concerning the storage and safety of storage of carbon dioxide at the proposed Liverpool Bay CCS scheme from 1st January 2022 until 6th February 2023.

Thank you also for your clarification that your request for senior scientists/officials at ENI meant: Claudio Descalzi, Lapo Pistelli, Erika Mandraffino, Giuseppe Ricci, Stefano Speroni, Chris Taylor and David Parkin and also ENI's consultant Nicola Macmillan.

I can confirm that BGS does not hold any information within the scope of this request and therefore exception 12(4)(a) 'Information not held', applies.
