BGS does not hold any information on T. Chener or any contributions from Penylan Observatory, and neither does it hold any information concerning John Milne’s advice or advisory role in setting up Penylan Observatory so Regulation 12(4)(a), ‘Information not held’ applies to all parts of the request.
Where ‘T. Chener’ is concerned we believe that Glamorgan Archives are most likely to be able to help you with information, and the Carisbrooke Museum may have some records relating to John Milne. It is possible that the National Museum of Wales may hold information or the Cardiff Astronomical Society who may know more (https://www.cardiff-astronomical-society.co.uk/).
