I would like to receive information on the number of proposals submitted to the recent "Engineering Biology Breakthrough Ideas" UKRI-call (submission and decision between August and September 2021), and on the number of submissions which were rejected because they were judged to be outside remit, be that because the reviewers could not identify how the proposal addressed the scope of the competition, or for other reasons.
Two simple numbers suffice:
Number 1: The total number of submissions to this call.
Number 2: The number of proposals rejected because they were judged to be outside remit.
