    I am requesting under the Freedom of Information act the following, to aid with my understanding of the current process for assessing and determining an organizations Undertakings in Difficulty status during the due diligence period of application assessment pertaining to Innovate UK led competitions.

    Please can you supply the following:

    1) The number of individual employees of Innovate UK, UKRI and its associate, who perform the Undertaking in Difficulty test - broken down by organisation where applicable.

    2) A detailed step-by-step description of the process decision pathway followed by the employee/representative performing the Undertaking in Difficulty test of the organisation

    3) The decision flow chart (or equivalent) including trigger points for UID testing, and the request parameters for further information

    4) The training documentation provided to IUK employees for performing UID testing

    5) Any email templates used in association to UID communications with applicants; including and not limited to: Notifications of further investigations; Requests for further information; Communications for successful UID outcomes.

    I am making this request under the Freedom of Information Act. Relating to the Fast Start Competition and the UK Innovate to increase the grant available to £40million.

    Given the key project requirements were to begin by June 2020, last up to 6 months, and have products and services available to the public towards the end of this year. Please can Innovate UK provide details of the extent to which each of the potential 800 plus successful recipients have met these requirements.

    Please can Innovate UK also provide the base data on projects, grant size allocated and successful delivery of outcomes to be available for the public.

    I request the following information regarding Martin Hunt, Programme Director of NIHR Invention for Innovation (i4i) and Prof Paul Sibbons, Deputy Chair of NIHR's Invention for Innovation Funding Committee:

    1.Has Martin Hunt or Paul Sibbons ever served on an Innovate UK (IUK) panel?

    2.Did Martin Hunt or Paul Sibbons serve on the IUK panel that was involved in awarding (i) the 'Inspire' grant to Videregen in 2014 (funding for Phase 1 trachea transplant trial), or (ii) any subsequent award to Videregen?

    3.Has Martin Hunt or Paul Sibbons every acted as a reviewer for any of Videregen's funding proposals?
