Request

Request Received: 19 May 2026

UKRI has recently introduced its new 'core values' to be shared by all staff. At the same time, UKRI has highlighted significant financial pressures, resulting in cost reductions and funding constraints across several of its councils, notably STFC.

With this context in mind, I would like to request the following information regarding the development and roll-out of these new core values:

1. The total recorded financial expenditure allocated to the development, production, and implementation of these core values.

2. A breakdown of this total figure separating external costs (e.g., external consultants, agencies, workshop facilitators, survey platforms, or printing/design materials) and internal costs (e.g., dedicated staff hours or internal project delivery budgets), if recorded.

To clarify, I am not looking for a line-by-line itemised account of the project, but rather the total aggregated cost figures.
